Blow and Pick
Tamarind seeds are natural products and hence have limited shelf life.
These are black (or dark brown) seeds from the tamarind fruit. This fruit is used extensively in Indian cooking. In olden days people would have a tamarind tree in their garden. After the fruit ripened, they would gather the fruit, crack the shell, toss away the seeds and use the sweet – sour pulp in their cooking. The seeds can be collected and are good play material.
There are many variations of the game, played in different parts of the country, some of which are provided to you. Games are traditionally played with a handful of tamarind seeds. The more seeds you have the more fun the game can be.
